Sen. John Fetterman Throws Support Behind ICE, Says Agency ‘Performs an Important Job’

As the Democratic Party rages against President Trump’s mass deportation agenda, Senator John Fetterman has signalled his support for Immigration and Customers Enforcement (ICE).

The Pennsylvania Senator, who has enraged many in his party’s base with his more centrist thinking on many political issues, denounced the growing left-wing calls to abolish the agency as “inappropriate and outrageous.”

“ICE performs an important job for our country,” Fetterman wrote.

”Any calls to abolish ICE” are inappropriate and outrageous.”

His comments come as many Democrats continue to demand that Congress abolish the agency and give all illegal aliens a permanent pathway to citizenship.

Unfortunately for them, that is not happening any time soon.

The recent passing of the Republican spending bill includes a sweeping pro-enforcement immigration package that empowers the federal government to ramp up deportations, detention, and border security on a massive scale.

Both ICE and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) will receive a historic budget increase, amounting to over $100 billion.

This fund will help expand detention space to more than 100,000 beds, hire thousands of new agents, and deport up to one million migrants per year.

Fetterman, meanwhile, is increasingly becoming a thorn in the side of the Democratic Party as they move closer to a vision of a socialist America.

Back in May, it was reported that Fetterman and his wife had spent their wedding anniversary at the Butterworth’s restaurant in Washington D.C. along with Breitbart reporter Matt Boyle.

The liberal media are also ramping up attacks against him, with both the Philadelphia Inquirer and New York Magazine recently running hit pieces about his mental capacity to perform his duties as a U.S. Senator.

Needless to say, neither of those publications was concerned about Fetterman’s health when he was facing off against Mehmet Oz in the 2022 general election.

They were also both part of the media machine that worked so hard to convince America that Joe Biden was in his political prime when, in fact, he was blatantly suffering from a case of early-onset dementia.
