Trump’s meeting with the leader of Lebanon comes as Iran has increased attacks on Gulf neighbors in a reigniting of hostilities with the United States recently.
The United States launched retaliatory strikes against Iran Sunday after two service members were killed in an attack on a base in Jordan last Friday.
