(VIDEO) Trump Suggests He May Escalate Iran War and “Just Take Care of Business” if Republicans Lose Midterm Elections

President Trump on Thursday suggested that he will “just take care of business” and finish Iran off after the midterm elections, as he continues to promise the war will be over after November. 

Trump has said repeatedly in recent days that the war will come to an end “very shortly” but that the Iranians are trying to make Republicans lose the midterms first.

During his RNC address in Dallas on Wednesday, Trump said, “The war will be over very shortly after the election.”

“They’re hanging out for dear life, hoping that we lose, so they can deal with dumb, weak Democrats and they can have their nuclear bomb,” Trump continued. “But we’re not going to let that happen.”

During an interview with Fox’s Laura Ingraham, Trump also said, “The war will end right after the midterms.”

“But if Republicans lose in the midterms, why would the Iran war end?” Ingraham responded.

“Well, I think a lot of people think if we lose, then I’ll be much more angry and I’ll just take care of business. You know, it’s another way of doing it. Either way, they’ll lose,” Trump said.

Trump has hinted at an escalation in the war numerous times recently.

Trump has previously threatened to take over Iran’s Kharg Island “and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets” after attacking military and oil targets on the island in March.

Last week, Trump also said he is weighing options on hitting Iran’s Pickaxe Mountain, where Iran is believed to have been rebuilding their nuclear program since last fall.

“Iran will not have a nuclear weapon. We’ve stopped them from having. We may hit pickaxe very soon,” Trump said, noting that the US is now leading in space technology, and “We know everybody that’s moving at pickaxe.”
