President Trump blasted RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska on Saturday for opposing Todd Blanche’s confirmation as Attorney General but voting in favor of Biden’s AG pick, Merrick Garland.

In an X post, shared by Trump, Murkowski is described as “owned” and a “traitor.”

Trump previously slammed Murkowski during a Thursday interview with Punchbowl News that aired on Friday. “I’m against Murkowski. I think she’s. I do more for Alaska than any president in history. No president’s done for Alaska what I’ve done. She’s not good,” Trump said. He further noted that Murkowski was one of the Republicans who voted to impeach him during his second impeachment trial in February 2021.

“They voted to impeach me. In all fairness, you think that I’m going to support somebody that voted to impeach me?” he said.

Trump’s latest rebuke comes after Blanche was successfully confirmed by the Senate early Saturday morning. RINO Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, both of whom voted to confirm Biden’s Attorney General, Merrick Garland, were the only Republican no votes.

Murkowski announced her intention to vote against Blanche in a social media statement yesterday, writing that the two had “numerous constructive meetings” and describing Blanche as “decent and capable.”

“Ultimately, however, I will oppose his nomination,” she wrote, claiming that “The politicization—even weaponization—of the Department did not start with this administration but has accelerated during it.”

“I take issue with the handling of the release of the Epstein files; the sweeping immunity protections granted to the President, his family, and their businesses; the statements that have been made to anti-abortion groups; and the repeated targeting of individuals ranging from former administration staff to sitting U.S. Senators,” she added.

“I am also keenly aware that the Department’s nearly $2-billion dollar slush fund—which likely would have rewarded January 6 protesters—is only off the table because this nomination is pending and the Senate has leverage. Once we vote, that will end, and there is no telling what the future holds. ”

Trump highlighted the irony in a post on Truth Social this morning, sharing a photo of Murkowski, alongside a clip of Merrick Garland announcing that he “personally approved” a raid of then-candidate Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago. This weaponization was enabled by Murkowski’s vote to approve Garland in 2021.

Trump also shared an X post that read,

Lisa Murkowski will not vote for Todd Blanche…

After having no problem voting for Merrick Garland.

Claiming Blanche will weaponize the DOJ and is too political.

The same Garland that personally signed off on the raid of President Trump’s home.

Murkowski is owned.

Traitor.
