Last week it was reported that longtime Fox News anchor and staunch Trump supporter Maria Bartiromo parted ways with Fox News and Fox Business after more than a decade.
It was first reported that Maria Bartiromo was allegedly fired after Fox News nixed her election integrity segment.
Bartiromo’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, disputed reports that she was fired or is no longer employed by Fox. Freedman said those reports were “absolutely and unequivocally false” and claimed Bartiromo’s legal team possesses evidence and witnesses supporting its position.
Maria Bartiromo parted ways after leaking internal texts to the White House showing the network told staff to stop amplifying ‘election conspiracies’ Trump spread during his speech last month.
Trump White House advisor Peter Navarro confirmed this and said Bartiromo booked him for the next morning, Fox killed the coverage, and she forwarded him the producer text that made the kill official.
The message, which Navarro published in a Washington Times column and on his Substack, came from Fox Business programming chief Ralph Giordano:
“Hi – We don’t want to promote it or push to the speech at all. We don’t want to do 2020 election segments at all Thurs or Friday.”
President Trump was stunned that Fox News ousted Maria Bartiromo.
“I can’t believe Maria Bartiromo is no longer going to have her great show(s) on FoxNews/Business. Three different shows, always number one. Maria is a total professional, and a true warrior. Her fans, of which there are many, will not be happy. God bless you, Maria! President DONALD J. TRUMP” Trump said on Truth Social.
On Thursday, Maria Bartiromo broke her silence and sent a message to her supporters.
“Thank you to all friends & followers for your amazing words I am so grateful for the outpouring of love. I love you all. here’s a great shot of the 🌈 breaking through, I snapped the other day. More to come,” Maria Bartiromo said.

“Just The News” founder John Solomon said Bartiromo remains under contract and is expected to receive compensation through 2029 under a “pay-or-play” provision, despite being removed from the air.
