Another day in socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s New York City.

On Monday afternoon, an Uber Eats delivery driver stormed into Barstool Sports World Headquarters in Midtown Manhattan and launched a brutal attack on a security guard after a dispute over a food order.

Barstool founder Dave Portnoy posted the shocking security and cell-phone footage and did not hold back.

According to Portnoy, the delivery driver initially confronted Barstool employee Gia Mariano over her food order. When the company’s security guard, identified as Dan, stepped into the hallway and told the courier to leave, the man allegedly turned violent.

The footage appears to show the driver knocking Dan to the floor, dragging him through the hallway, and repeatedly striking him in the face.

Several Barstool employees then rushed into the hallway and wrestled the attacker away from the injured guard.

Portnoy wrote on X:

“We had a crazy scene today at Barstool World Hq. An Uber Eats driver got in a fight with Gia in the hallway over her order. Our security guard Dan went into the hall to tell the guy to leave and he attacked him. Beat him up pretty good.

“Gaz saved the day pulling him off. Thankfully it was Gaz and not Mintzy who arrived first. Then the rest of the troops rushed in followed by Cody and Travy for the Boys to help out.”

Portnoy then mocked Barstool personality Tom Scibelli, who was seen in a red shirt retreating into the office and closing the door while his coworkers battled the attacker.

“Now what we got to pay very close attention to in the security footage we pulled is how Tom Scibelli (in red) handled this explosive situation. Bravery like this can not go unnoticed. Totally secured and locked down the office.”

Portnoy said police arrested the individual and joked that Dan “may need a few stitches and a couple beers.”

He concluded with a savage shot at New York’s socialist mayor:

“All in all another day at the Stool. Shoutout Mandami’s NYC.”

The NYPD said officers responded to Barstool’s Seventh Avenue headquarters at approximately 2 p.m. after a verbal dispute escalated. Police said a 31-year-old man punched a 45-year-old man multiple times in the face, according to the New York Post.

Authorities described the detained man as a “person of interest” and said the investigation remained ongoing. The security guard was treated at the scene. No formal charges had been publicly announced at the time of publication.

Uber confirmed that the courier had been removed from its platform.

“We are horrified by the conduct displayed. Violence is never tolerated,” an Uber spokesperson told the New York Post, adding that the company was prepared to cooperate with police.
