Move over, Love Island. Netflix’s Temptation Island reboot is bringing the heat as one of the steamiest dating shows streaming right now. All 10 episodes dropped on March 12, following four couples as they put their relationships to the test. But which pairs survived, and who left with someone new?

Hosted by Mark L. Walberg, Temptation Island first aired on Fox in 2001 before moving to USA Network, and now, Netflix has given it a fresh makeover. The series follows four couples at a crossroads—whether financially, emotionally, sexually, or something different—who must decide if their relationships can withstand temptation. “This journey is meant to give you answers to the questions that you brought to the island,” Walberg says in the premiere episode.

The couples are separated upon arrival, each moving into a villa filled with singles. The men live with a group of single women, known as the temptresses, while the women move in with a group of single men, dubbed the tempters. To shake things up on the island even more, two “surprise” singles arrive in Episode 4.

The four pairs featured in Temptation Island Season 1 are: Grant Larson and Ashley Moore (together for 1.5 years), Alexa Santamaria and Lino Troisi (dating for 3.5 years), Brion Whitley and Shante Glover (together for a year), and Tayler Byrd and Tyler Breshears (in a relationship for 2.5 years).

Shanté and Brion

Shanté and Brion joined Temptation Island after Brion was involved with someone else early in their relationship. Shanté has struggled to trust that Brion can resist the temptation of other women, especially since he has a habit of inviting others into their bedroom.

From the moment he entered the villa, Brion was openly flirty with the single women. At one point, he went into his bedroom bathroom with Alex, which Shanté later watched back and called “annoying.” Things escalate midway through the series when Courtney and Alex join Brion in his bathroom and they have a threesome. Shanté remains composed when she learns about his betrayal, and in their video messages to one another, Brion confesses his love for Shanté, while she tells him how deeply hurt she feels.

In Episode 10, at the final bonfire, Shanté and Brion faced the decision of whether to stay together or go their separate ways. While Brion was certain he wanted to leave with her, Shanté had mixed emotions. Ultimately, they decided to leave the show as a couple. Ashley and Grant

Ashley and Grant’s relationship has been on and off for a year and a half, which started from Grant’s infidelity early in their relationship. Ashley told Tudum that she joined the show to find out if she can get back in touch with her “carefree self,” while Grant is on a mission to prove to Ashley that he’s a changed man.

On Temptation Island, Grant developed a romantic interest in temptress Natalie, going so far as to shower with her. When Ashley watched the moment unfold at the bonfire, she decided to end things with Grant and focus on her growing connections with Danny and Logan. She went on several dates with Danny, while Grant continued exploring his relationship with Natalie (though he was visibly upset about Ashley’s connection with Danny).

Are Ashley and Grant still together?

No, Ashley and Grant are no longer together. Grant chose to leave the island single, while Ashley decided to exit the show with Danny. Ashley and Danny still follow each other on Instagram, suggesting there’s a chance they’re still seeing each other.

Alexa and Lino

Alexa and Lino have been dating for three years and want to be “100% confident” in their relationship before settling down. Lino has never been in a serious relationship before, so he wants to make sure that Alexa is the one, while Alexa wants to discover her independence. “When you’re deeply in love, it’s easy to become codependent, and I believe this experience will help me assess whether I truly need Lino in my life or if it’s simply that I deeply want him to be in my life forever,” she told Tudum.

Compared to the other couples, Alexa and Lino are the most well-behaved at the villas and never cross any boundaries. While they have a few tense moments—like when Lino overhears Alexa saying she doesn’t need him or when Alexa questions his commitment after he says he built her up into an independent woman—their relationship remains stable.

It was pretty obvious that Tyler and Tayler’s relationship wasn’t going to last Temptation Island, especially after Tyler started to get to know Kay. Tayler watched in clips as a physical connection grew between the two, as they went on dates, cuddled, kissed, and were the first pair to go into the Temptation Haven (a space with no cameras). Meanwhile, Yamen and the Tayler went on a number of dates and she chose him for her final date overnight.

Are Tayler and Tyler still together?

By Episode 10, it was clear that Tayler and Tyler’s relationship had run its course. Tayler chose to leave the island alone, while Tyler decided to exit with Kay after strengthening their connection throughout Season 1. As for Tyler and Kay’s current status, they still follow each other on Instagram, a promising sign that they might still be together.
