President Trump on Sunday doubled down, saying he wants to revive the $1.776 billion weaponization fund, which was previously scrapped after a judge blocked it.
A reporter asked Trump about his plans with the weaponization fund after he laid out plans to restore the fund on Saturday, and he confirmed the fund will be “back on the table.”
Before taking the question, Trump trolled the ABC reporter after mistaking her for a BBC reporter. After the reporter announced the outlet she is from, Trump misheard and asked, “BBC?” before saying, “Oh, ABC. That’s worse. I like BBC better than ABC, actually.”
Notably, Trump is currently suing the BBC for defaming him by doctoring his January 6, 2021, speech to make it look like he called for violence.

“Look, we have a man named Todd Blanche. He’s outstanding in every way. Most of you know who he is. You’re not going to find a better person, and everybody, and it’s because I backed one of his opponent, and his opponent won in a landslide. That’s the only reason it’s happening,” Trump later said with reference to RINO Senator John Cornyn (R-TX).
“People were hurt so badly. 22 suicides; they were destroyed, their families were destroyed.”
He continued, “This would be a reimbursement for the pain that they suffered. A lot of people like it. If they don’t, if they don’t approve Todd, I put it back on the table. A lot of people like it. A lot of big supporters of Trump like it.”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump on Saturday announced that he will “push hard” for an Anti-Weaponization Bill to be passed after telling reporters during a cabinet meeting on Friday he wants to restore the weaponization fund because “the Biden administration and the Obama administration weaponized government and destroyed lives.”
The President said he will “keep Todd [Blanche] as Acting A.G., and push hard to get the Anti-Weaponization Bill, which takes care of those who have been so badly treated by the Crooked Joe Biden (and Obuma!) Administration (I get nothing, although I was treated horribly!), PASSED. ”
