On Monday, April 14, El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele arrived at the White House with a warm welcome, captured exclusively by the Gateway Pundit.

While most mainstream outlets glossed over the fanfare that President Bukele gathered from the U.S. Marines, this Gateway Pundit correspondent positioned himself mere feet away from the U.S. Marines, as they honored President Bukele at the White House on Monday.

At the moment that President Bukele’s truck rolled to the White House door, President Trump walked out of the West Wing to greet President Bukele.

On Monday, the Gateway Pundit reported that President Trump and President Bukele’s bilateral meeting in the Oval Office heightened when CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins asked President Trump a poorly slanted question regarding the Trump administration’s deportation of an MS-13 gang member back to El Salvador, after he was illegally living in the United States.

President Bukele agreed that the gang member should be dealt with in El Salvador, which has transformed from the most violent country in the world, to among the world’s safest countries, ever since President Bukele instituted his historic policies to imprison all perpetrators of violent crime, namely gang members.

In a jaw-dropping exchange reposted by President Bukele on Monday, Bukele said, “How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? Of course, I’m not going to do it. The question is preposterous.”

As El Salvador transforms into a crown jewel constitutional republic and bustling tourist destination, the people of El Salvador are united in support for President Bukele, whose tough-on-crime policy reaps enormous benefits for the people.

Consequently, President Bukele earned 84.7% of the popular vote in El Salvador’s 2024 election, bestowing President Bukele with the largest mandate of any active, freely elected world leader.

Today, in the United States, El Salvador is considered a newfound, strong ally. Accordingly, President Bukele offered on Monday to help the United States deal with crime and terrorism, to any extent possible.

President Trump appeared intrigued by the idea of reflecting El Salvador’s tough-on-crime model in the U.S., responding favorably to President Bukele’s slogan, “Sometimes they say that we imprisoned thousands. I like to say we actually liberated millions.”

In an even more powerful statement, President Bukele challenged President Trump to himself “liberate 350 million Americans” by vanquishing crime and terrorism in the United States.

Evidently, presidential efforts to restore common sense, tough-on-crime policies in North America will improve the quality of life for millions of law-abiding citizens.

If only the American left were capable of acknowledging this simple perspective.

Fortunately, a force for good more powerful than the left seems to be empowering President Trump and President Bukele’s sacred mission.
