WATCH: CNN’s Brian Stelter Melts Down on Live TV After Real America’s Voice Takes Over Air Force One Coverage From CNN as Network Lies About RAV Footage Being Available

CNN hosts had a meltdown this afternoon during President Trump’s trip to Nashville to watch the University of Tennessee football game against the University of Texas after the network was 86’d from the press pool. 

CNN White House correspondent Alayna Treene and Anderson Cooper whined on live TV last night about how CNN was not listed as the television pool and was replaced by Real America’s Voice in the White House daily guidance.

Then on Saturday, CNN Newsroom anchor Fredricka Whitfield brought Brian Stelter on the show to discuss the latest and push blatant lies about the new White House pool rotation.

“You can’t see much of him here on this network because the president barred CNN from traveling on Air Force One to handle the press pool duties, and in that role, CNN was scheduled to cover him on behalf of all the major television networks,” she claimed as if there was no available pool feed. “No outlet has been tapped to replace CNN, which means limited coverage of his trip.”

However, none of this is true. Real America’s Voice was tapped by the White House to fill the television pool duties and provide the live feed to any outlet that chooses to cover the President. CNN just chose not to cover Trump, then lied about the reason.

Stelter went on to spew his garbage narrative, arguing that “the president is trying to control news coverage” and “picking a fight with the people who are telling unpleasant truths about his administration.”

“Today, yes, it happens to be CNN, but tomorrow it could be any other news outlet. So we continue now for more than a week to see the president taking these unprecedented steps that CNN and other outlets have called illegal, and that First Amendment attorneys have said will eventually be defeated in court,” he continued.

“We know that that ban about the White House grounds. That ruling from the court was handed down a couple of days ago and taken into effect. So reporters from CNN, Politico, MS Now are back on the White House complex. But today the White House tried something different. The president rejected the plan, the schedule, for CNN to be the TV pool correspondent.”

Stelter went on to say, “The president wants to pick and choose who is able to be around him, who’s able to report on him, who’s able to document his presidency,” describing the move as “simply antithetical to the First Amendment.” So, now the President of the United States doesn’t get to decide who can be around him? Is CNN now unable to report on him or to document his presidency because they weren’t on Air Force One? Give me a break.

“He wants control. He wants to decide what’s real versus fake. But, of course, most Americans don’t want that. So, we don’t know what’s going to happen over the long term with TV pool coverage, but at least today the other networks have continued to rally together and refuse to go along with this ban,” Stelter added, claiming, “so, that’s why there’s no TV pool coverage.”

So, which is it? Is Trump preventing access to TV pool coverage, or are the networks refusing to cover him in protest?
