Outgoing Rep. Jasmine Crockett, as one of her last acts in Congress, was seen on stage with R&B/rap stars Chris Brown and Usher on Saturday in Arlington, Texas, where she recognized the two with screaming praise and an entry in the Congressional Record.
During the tour stop at AT&T Stadium, Crockett came out on stage with State Rep. Venton Jones and producer Roccstar, screaming that she “couldn’t miss this night.”
“We are here because of Chris Brown!” she continued. “Now, y’all know I tend to get in trouble every once in a while. Imma make this real quick. I need to know who run it! So is Dallas in the building?!”

“We are experiencing Black joy to the highest level. And I wanted to make sure we document that at the congressional level. So let’s give it up again for Chris Brown,” Crockett went on to say.
“I appreciate all the love. You know I f–k with y’all for real,” Brown then told the crowd.

The congressional record entry, titled “Recognizing the Artistry of Chris Brown and Usher Raymond,” commends Brown and Usher for their “extraordinary accomplishments” and describes them as “exceptional artists.”

Per the New York Post:
The award given to Brown appears to make no mention of the singer’s legal troubles, which infamously included a 2009 guilty plea for a vicious beating of his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The “Look at Me Now” singer has also run into issues with the law since, having been booked for allegedly smashing a bottle over a music producer’s head in a nightclub in 2023, which he later pleaded guilty to, ABC reported.
