Liberals are now shocked that detention facilities are made to detain people.

I suppose this comes as a surprise to liberals, but when you break the law you typically end up in a place that somewhat resembles a cage. Will they be outraged to find out about maximum security federal prisons where inmates are kept in cages? Or perhaps they will be infuriated when they visit their local county jail and see the “cages” there?

The theatrics are of course in response to the new “Alligator Alcatraz” in Florida that President Trump toured today.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

In a fearless and practical move to shore up immigration enforcement, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has pitched a novel concept to the Trump administration: a 39‑square‑mile detention site in the Everglades, slyly dubbed “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Situated on the abandoned Dade‑Collier airport—as part of the Big Cypress Wildlife Management Area—this remote facility would capitalize on Florida’s natural defenses.

ICE currently holds around 53,000 migrants in facilities funded for just 41,500 beds, according to WLRN.

This “Alligator Alcatraz” could house up to 1,000 criminal illegal entrants, built in as little as 30–60 days — a swift addition to national security infrastructure.

The good news is that if liberals don’t want any illegal aliens to end up in this new detention facility they can encourage them to self-deport!
