Maduro is moving his pieces in the board – the game is about to start.

Not many people are paying attention to this, but US President Donald J. Trump and Department of War Secretary Peter Hegseth have sent the largest military contingent to Latin America in 25 years.

The US military is deploying over 4,000 Marines and sailors to the waters around Latin America and the Caribbean as part of a ‘counter-cartel mission’.

This deployment includes the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (comprising the USS Iwo Jima, USS Fort Lauderdale, and USS San Antonio), a nuclear-powered attack submarine, three destroyers (USS Gravely, USS Jason Duhan, and USS Sampson) a guided-missile cruiser, and additional P-8 Poseidon reconnaissance aircraft.

The US is ‘loaded for bear’ against Maduro’s cartel.

Since this was reported, Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro has been on the move.

He called upon 4,5 million militia members to fight what he sees as an imminent US invasion, and immediately launched a purge on his top aides looking for traitors that want to cash in on the $50 million reward that the US DOJ is offering.

Since then, Maduro was reportedly seen at the Chinese embassy asking for access to land-to-sea defense systems – as he already has Iranian land-to-air defenses.

Exiled opposition leader María Corina Machado told Fox News, that ‘Maduro’s days are numbered’, and promised that Venezuela will go ‘from being a criminal hub to becoming the United States’ greatest energy ally’.

In the meantime, US Navy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft remains active over the Caribbean Sea, conducting ‘extended surveillance and intelligence-gathering operations focused on Venezuelan territory’.

Maduro is moving his pieces for a confrontation with the US.

Today (25), it arises that Venezuela is reinforcing security along its border with Colombia.

Bloomberg reported:

“Nicolas Maduro’s regime deployed 15,000 police and military officers to the border states of Zulia and Tachira, Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said Monday at a press conference. The forces will be joined by an unspecified number of boats, aircraft and drones.

‘The president has ordered this deployment to guarantee peace’, Cabello said. ‘If they want to enter through the border, they won’t be able to’.

[…] Last week, Maduro dismissed news of the US deployment but nonetheless called on Venezuelans to unite and join militias. State television is now running ads promoting the enlistment drive.”
