CANTON – Retired Chief Border Patrol Officer Mike DeBruhl will speak at Malone University at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Johnson Center, Room 106.
His talk, “Facts, Stories, and Myths: The Truth About Our Southern Border,” is free and open to the public.
DeBruhl spent 26 years with the U.S. Customs & Border Protection, serving as deputy commander and overseeing 10,000 employees and 1,700 miles of the southern Texas border.
Now director of Sacred Heart Migrant Shelter, he brings a perspective from both sides of the migration debate.
