Multiple explosions have been heard at a Bulgarian munitions storage facility after a delivery truck serving a military plant caught fire, local media have reported.
The incident occurred around midday on Monday near the village of Belitsa in Gabrovo Province, according to the BGNES news agency, which published footage showing a large white cloud rising in the distance, accompanied by loud bangs.
No casualties were reported. Officials attributed the fire to the accidental ignition of the vehicle. The facility was cordoned off and around 300 employees of Bulgarian arms manufacturer EMCO were evacuated...
