Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA) struggled to read her prepared remarks during a hearing this week.
86-year-old Maxine Waters is the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee yet she appeared to be confused over “Gross Domestic Product” as she read from prepared remarks.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent testified before the House Financial Services Committee on Wednesday and sparred with Maxine Waters.
Maxine Waters sounded like a third grader struggling to read.

Maxine Waters tried to take a shot at Bessent a few times but failed miserably.

Maxine Waters also apparently forgot that she had previously met Bessent.
“This is the first time we’ve met, is that correct?” Waters said to Scott Bessent.
“No, ma’am. We actually met one New Year’s Eve in the Bahamas,” Bessent said to a clueless Waters.
Term limits!
