Louisville Metro Police reported an “officer involved shooting” in the Crescent Hill neighborhood Sunday, April 20.
The 3300 block of Arterburn Aveneue has a heavy police presence for an investigation in the area, LMPD posted just after 1 p.m., on X, formerly Twitter. People are advised to avoid the area while the investigation is active.
“There is no danger to the public,” LMPD officials stated in a post at 1:47 p.m.
No further information was immediately available.
LMPD will post updates on X as more information becomes available, spokesperson Aaron Ellis said.
