In a blow to another fake progressive narrative, the number of violent deaths involving transgender Americans has fallen sharply under the Trump presidency.
This comes despite repeated claims from far-left activists that President Trump’s policies would fuel an epidemic of violence against trans people.
According to figures compiled by Advocates for Trans Equality and highlighted by The Boston Globe, violent deaths fell from 53 in 2023 to 27 in 2025, a decline of nearly 50 percent.
The Human Rights Campaign has reported a similar trend. Its figures show violent deaths peaking at 47 in 2021 before falling to 27 in 2025.
The decline comes after years of increasingly dramatic warnings from transgender activists and progressive organizations about the consequences of Republican-backed restrictions.
These have included bans on transgender participation in women’s sports, medical procedures for minors, and other gender-related policies.
Some activists have gone much further, describing the political climate under Trump as a form of “genocide” and warning that transgender people may need to flee the United States.

Yet the numbers published by LGBT advocacy groups themselves show violence moving in the opposite direction.
Both the Human Rights Campaign and Advocates for Trans Equality insist transgender Americans face serious threats compared to the average population.
But their own published figures show a substantial fall in violent deaths from recent peaks.
The trend also comes amid a broader decline in violent crime across the country.
FBI data for 2025 showed declines in both murder and reported hate-crime incidents compared with the previous year.
Even the Globe admits that the data cut against the prevailing narrative surrounding violence against transgender Americans.
However, there remains a major issue of transgender people committing despicable acts of violence.
The Gateway Pundit has reported on numerous violent crimes committed by transgenders, a trend that is likely driven by their consumption of mind-altering drugs.
In March 2023, Audrey Hale, who identified as male, murdered six people, including three 9-year-old children, at The Covenant School in Nashville before being shot dead by police.
Then, in August 2025, Robin Westman, who had legally changed his name after identifying as female, opened fire during a Catholic school Mass in Minneapolis, killing two children and injuring 17 others before taking his own life.
