A pet shelter in New York claims to care about the welfare of needy kittens, but they care about politics more than little lives.
Itty Bitty City Kitties, a non-profit kitten-specific animal rescue, welfare, and adoption organization based in Rockaway Beach, New York City, wants to make it clear that even if an animal needs a loving home, if you are ‘MAGA,’ you need not apply.
In a post on Facebook, the organization shared an image of a kitten that said, “Important! Adoption policy update. No.Fu**ing. MAGA.”
They then shared, “That’s it. That’s the policy.”
“MAGA? Nope.”
“Conservative? Nope.”
“’I’m not political?’Nice loophole. Still nope.”
The group, which has nonprofit status, then went on an expected unhinged rant, “These kittens are looking for homes with a tote bag collection, oat milk, an aggressively progressive group chat, a compost bin, NPR playing somewhere in the background, and someone who has rage-donated to mutual aid at least once.”
“If your politics involve racism, bigotry, dehumanizing immigrants, or cheering on cruelty toward vulnerable people, please kindly fu** right off.”
“For those spouting about cats ‘not knowing about politics… I actually asked the kittens if they’d be open to homes with Cult Members and the overwhelming response was, ‘absolutely the fu** not.’”
“Applications are open for people whose values align with ours, and yes, references will be checked to make sure you’re not a racist piece of sh**.”
“Hiss Hiss. Smooches.”
The policy is so egregious that even the far-left animal rights group PETA spoke out against the politically motivated policy.
PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk told Fox News Digital, “Homeless animals don’t care which side of abortion you are on or whether you believe in global warming or support Palestine or Israel or if you don’t vote at all, ever. They care if you love them and will give them a good home.”
“We hope this policy, which is humancentric, is reconsidered and abolished.”
Samantha Knox, who has publicly identified herself as the director of Itty Bitty City Kitties, told Fox that “active support for or alignment with social movements” the rescue believes normalizes or promotes cruelty can be treated as “actionable conduct” and said adoption decisions are made “holistically under these welfare and safety standards.”
Yet the organization appears to have celebrated the politically motivated murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
On the first anniversary of his death, the organization posted “Just a little kitten making sure we all know where we stand.”
It was accompanied by a picture of a kitten with the words, “Friendly reminder (for absolutely no reason at all on this day one year later……)”
“Kittens. Don’t. Mourn. Nazis.”
