US Central Command announced on Wednesday afternoon that additional strikes have been launched against Iran for the second time today.
US strikes have continued against Iranian missile and drone sites in and around the Strait of Hormuz for five consecutive days.
CENTCOM said in a statement that the second wave started this afternoon at 3 pm ET:
At 3 p.m. ET, U.S. forces launched operations for a second wave of strikes today against Iran. The strikes are targeting Iranian military capabilities used to threaten vessels freely transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, an international waterway vital to global commerce. The U.S. military is holding Iran accountable at the Commander in Chief’s direction.

CENTCOM released footage on Wednesday morning.
Iran has retaliated against the US strikes by attacking neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for a drone attack that caused a massive warehouse fire in Al Shuaiba, Kuwait, on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Trump says Iran wants to make a deal to end the renewed fighting.
While speaking during a Pennsylvania Defense and Innovation Summit at the Army War College this afternoon, Trump said Iran wants to “settle so badly,” but suggested that he’ll instead “finish it off.”
“They don’t like what we’re doing, and they do want to settle. We’ll find out whether or not we settle with them or we just finish it off,” Trump said.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, the President said strikes will continue through the week, while threatening to escalate the war further by targeting Iran’s energy, oil, and transportation infrastructure next week. He further refused to rule out a ground invasion of Iran and suggested that he would take over Iran’s oil export hub of Kharg Island.
