Netflix IndiaShahid Kapoor’s Hindi film Deva is now the second most-watched non-English film on the latest Netflix global top ten list. A total of three Indian films (including Deva) and one web series have made it to the Netflix list for the week ending March 30.

Officer On Duty and Dragon made it to the list for the second week in a row. Deva made it to the second slot on Netflix’s list of most-watched non-English film for the week ending March 30.
Netflix Global Top 10: Deva
Registering 7.2 million watch-hours and 2.8 million views in three days, Deva debuted right behind the Korean mystery thriller Revelations on the new weekly list of most-watched non-English films on Netflix. It landed online on March 28, nearly two months after it hit theatres on January 31. Deva also topped the lists of most-watched films in seven countries including India, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar and UAE.
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Deva features Shahid Kapoor in the titular role of a cop. It had an average run at the box office and managed to cross $5 million-mark worldwide in a week. Pravesh Rana, Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, Manish Wadhwa, Upendra Limaye, and Girish Kulkarni also star in important roles in the film. Deva director Andrrews has earlier worked on Prathi Poovankozhi, Notebook, and How Old Are You? Deva, apparently a reworked version of his own 2013 film Mumbai Police, marked his Hindi debut.
Netflix Global Top 10: Dragon

AGS EntertainmentDirected by Ashwath Marimuthu, Tamil film Dragon is the fifth most-watched non-English film on Netflix this week. It registered 2.2 million views and 5.7 million watch-hours on the platform. The film made it to the list of most-watched non-English film for the second consecutive week. It made its debut on the Netflix list at the seventh slot.
Dragon stars Anupama Parameswaran, Pradeep, and KS Ravikumar and was the seventh most-watched non-English film on Netflix just days after it landed on the platform on March 21. Written by Pradeep Ranganathan and director Marimuthu, Dragon had a decent run at the box office and grossed a little below $20 million. AGS Entertainment produced the film. It released in theatres in February.
Netflix Global Top 10: Officer On Duty

Martin Prakkat FilmsThe Malayalam film Officer On Duty made it to Netflix’s weekly list of most-watched non-English films for the second week in a row. Jithu Ashraf’s Officer On Duty is sixth-most-watched non-English film on the platform for the week ending March 30. It recorded 2.1 million views and 4.8 million watch-hours. This is the second time in a row that Officer On Duty made it to the Global top 10 list on Netflix. After its digital premiere on March 20, the film ranked as the fifth most-watched non-English film. The film also made it to most-watched films’ lists on Netflix in Bangladesh, India and Bahrain in its first week.
Ashraf has directed Officer On Duty which stars Kunchacko Boban in the lead role of a cop and Priyamani plays his wife. Vishak Nair and Jagadish also feature in the film.
Netflix Global Top 10: Khakee The Bengal Chapter

Netflix IndiaCreated by Neeraj Pandey, the new Netflix original cop saga Khakee The Bengal Chapter made it to Netflix global top 10 list for the second consecutive week. After ranking at seventh position for the debut week, the Hindi web series slid to the ninth slot on the latest weekly list from Netflix. It recorded 1.5 million views and 8.5 million watch-hours on the platform. Khakee The Bengal Chapter also became most-watched film in India and Bangladesh this week.
Khakee: The Bengal Chapter released on March 20. It has been directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray and features Parambrata Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee, Prosenjit and Jeet along with Chitrangada Singh in pivotal roles. Khakee The Bengal Chapter is a standalone sequel to Khakee The Bihar Chapter.
