Hunter Biden has provided a heartbreaking update regarding his father’s ongoing battle with fast-acting prostate cancer.
As TGP readers know, it was reported in May 2025 that the then 82-year-old Joe Biden was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that had already spread to his bones.
This was just four months after Joe Biden exited the White House for good.
President Trump responded after the news broke last year, seemingly suggesting that it was swept under the rug by former White House physician Kevin O’Connor, who famously covered up Biden’s cognitive decline.
“It takes a long time to get to that situation … to get to a stage nine. I think that if you take a look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine,” Trump explained to reporters.
During an interview with BBC News on Friday night, Hunter Biden revealed that his father’s condition had now unsurprisingly worsened.
The cancer has now metastasized and has spread throughout his body, not just the bones. Moreover, it is causing him an extreme amount of pain.
“It’s really sad to watch,” Hunter Biden said. “The only thing that I’d say about my dad, about his health right now, is I wish he would complain more, because it’s not good.”
“The cancer has spread; it has metastasized into his bones and further,” he said. “‘It’s very painful, and it’s very debilitating in many respects.’”

“My dad to this day remains the center of our family…He is our rock,” Hunter Biden said. “He has been there for us in a way for me to even possibly articulate and explain.”
“Cancer is really hard, it’s just like addiction,” he added. “We are not alone in our grief, we are not alone in our pain.”
Hunter Biden also said his father would continue to speak out, despite his worsening condition.
“He’s still doing his thing,” Hunter said. “He so believes in this country.”
