House Budget Committee Chair Jodey Arrington will attend Senate Republicans’ closed-door conference lunch Wednesday, according to two people granted anonymity to discuss private scheduling.
Arrington’s appearance comes as Hill Republicans are working to finalize a budget resolution that will tee up a party-line reconciliation bill funding immigration enforcement activities, which are currently lapsed amid the Department of Homeland Security shutdown.
