In-N-Out employee Ashley Garibay, 23, was shot and killed by a gunman in Great Falls, Idaho

The In-N-Out employee who was killed in the horrific shooting in Twin Falls, Idaho, over the weekend has been identified as 23-year-old Ashley Garibay, of Stockton, California.

In-N-Out President Lynsi Snyder confirmed in a heartfelt statement on Sunday that “one of our beautiful associates” was killed in the Saturday shooting. “She was taking care of our most important asset – our Customers, and her life was taken by a disgusting human who doesn’t value the lives of others or his own,” Snyder wrote.

“IN-N-OUT will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season. I am no stranger to loss, but this is so incredibly tough, and my heart also goes out to all of the Associates and Customers who were there during this traumatic event. I love you all, and I ask you to turn to God, not in anger, but seeking comfort and strength for those who are hurting.”

Ashley Garibay was identified as one of the three killed in the shooting in heartbreaking social media posts by friends and family.

“Oh my beautiful friend…my heart breaks seeing your pictures knowing they’ll just be memories now,” wrote friend, Alissa Juarez.

Ashley’s grieving mother, Sabrina Garibay, changed her profile picture to a selfie with her daughter.

“Please pray for my friend Sabrina Garibay. Her beautiful daughter was tragically taken from us on Saturday. This is just unbelievable. Ashley was so amazing. She was full of energy, life, creativity and she loved helping others. If you know Sabrina, she is crazy about her three kids. Ashley, Alex and Savannah. They all love their mama so much also. Please please pray that God will give Sabrina and the family the peace that surpasses all understanding,” a friend wrote.

“My heart is broken and I just can’t imagine. Ashley was such an amazing worker. She loved working at In and Out and she quickly made it to the top! She would go and train and open up new stores in other states. She loved to travel. But she still lived in Stockton! Ashley, I’m so sorry and we love you so much. We will do our best to protect your mom here. Until we meet you again, please be your mama’s guardian angel”

Ashley’s mother has also organized a GoFundMe page, the proceeds from which will go toward “her and laying her to rest in the most beautiful way,” Garibay wrote. Sabrina describes her daughter as “my IN N OUT all star.”

The GoFundMe description reads:

“as myself and the world we are in a state of shock. My beautiful angel Ashley gained her wings while working at IN N OUT in twin falls, as she was doing what she loved her life was taken! A call no mother ever wants to get! She is an amazing soul, the most beautiful heart and a radiant heart. Please help support during the horrific time . All proceeds will go towards her and laying her to rest in the most beautiful way! Ashley is a beloved daughter, sister. Auntie and a best friend to everyone. She has left a lasting impression on so many souls!”

As The Gateway Pundit reported, three were confirmed dead on Saturday evening after a shooting at an In-N-Out restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho. At least five victims were wounded in the attack.

Twin Falls Police Chief Matthew Hicks confirmed during a press conference on Saturday that a citizen returned fire at the gunman, 24-year-old Chad Williams, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The heroic citizen bystander who jumped into action was later identified as Jordan Salinas, 35, of Kimberly, Idaho, who said in an interview that he had spent years training with firearms for the moment. “Everyone says, ‘It’s not going to happen here,’” he said. “But what if it does?”

His “heroic action,” said Police Chief Matthew Hicks, “helped drive the suspect away from the scene, preventing further casualties.”

Video from the scene shows Salinas, donning a cowboy hat, firing back at the gunman using his FN Five-Seven handgun and ducking for cover in the bushes as the gunman seemingly fires back.
