Fleetwood Mac hasn’t released any brand new music in years, but the group has doled out plenty of special projects. The group’s catalog remains massively popular, and from time to time, the act earns a new win on the charts with various drops, from re-releases to deluxe editions, and even live recordings. In the United Kingdom, Fleetwood Mac returns to a tally the rockers know well with a newly-issued collection — and even decades after some of these albums first arrived, fans are still eager to get their hands on the music.

Fleetwood Mac’s 1975-1987 Arrives on the Charts

The band’s latest collection, 1975-1987, is a box set of some of its most successful albums. The effort opens this week at No. 87 on the Official Albums Sales chart in the U.K., which ranks the bestselling titles of the week across all formats and genres. It’s a quiet – but still meaningful – debut for the group.

Fleetwood Mac Earns Another Chart Win

With 1975-1987, Fleetwood Mac claims its twenty-second title to appear on the Official Albums Sales chart, and this new entry follows two others that also made an impact not long ago. In 2024 alone, the band added a pair of new wins to its chart history in the U.K., as Best of 1969-1974 and Mirage Tour ‘82 opened on that tally just months ago. Those two releases peaked at Nos. 57 and 24, respectively, on the sales list.

What’s in Fleetwood Mac’s 1975-1987 Box Set?

The 1975-1987 box set is a sleek, straightforward reissue of five already-iconic albums Fleetwood Mac released during those years, packaged together into a collectible must-have. The project, distributed by Rhino Records, dropped on March 28 and comes in a six-LP set pressed on crystal-clear vinyl. For fans who prefer CDs, the same music is available as a five-disc offering.

Inside, listeners will find Fleetwood Mac (also known as The White Album by fans), Rumours, Tusk, Mirage, and Tango in the Night. Every one of these titles was a major success upon release, and they’ve been reissued several times over the years. Now, they’re together in one grouping.

Fleetwood Mac Scores Four Hit Albums This Week

1975-1987 isn’t the only Fleetwood Mac release that appears on the charts in the U.K. this week, but it is the only one that shows up on just one ranking. A total of four albums by the band are currently performing well enough to find space on at least one list.

50 Years – Don’t Stop and Greatest Hits are both present on two separate charts, with the latter returning to both tallies simultaneously. Meanwhile, Rumours remains the band’s top-performing title. That set appears on five different charts in the U.K. this frame, and it manages to place inside the top 40 on all but one of them.
