President Trump: It’s great to have you here to celebrate Women’s History Month. It’s a tremendous achievement.
Throughout our history, strong, resilient, and visionary women have defended our flags, strengthened our communities, explored new frontiers, and expanded the American Dream for all our children and all our people.
Now, patriotic American women like those in this room are helping lead our nation into the golden age of America. You have the heart, you have the spirit, you are incredible people, and it is an honor to be with you. We are going to work together, and we are going to make this the greatest era in our country’s history.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Women have played a fundamental role in the history of the United States, especially in strengthening the family and upholding traditional values. They are recognized as pillars of the home, responsible for the education and upbringing of children, as well as guardians of morality and social stability.
Conservatism highlights the role of women in passing down principles such as patriotism, faith, and individual responsibility, considering them key to preserving American culture. Throughout history, women have led movements in defense of life, values-based education, and religious freedom, promoting policies that reinforce the family institution.
In the political sphere, conservative women have played essential roles in defending the free-market economy, national security, and U.S. sovereignty. Leaders such as Phyllis Schlafly, Sarah Palin, and more recently, figures like Kristi Noem and Marjorie Taylor Greene, have pushed for an agenda based on respect for the Constitution, the protection of parental rights, and reducing government intervention in family life.
From this perspective, women’s empowerment is not based on dependence on the state but on their leadership in the family, community, and politics, reaffirming their role as the foundation of American society.
