Putin told Witkoff and Kushner that Russia will commit to a three-day ceasefire starting at midnight.

According to TabzLIVE:

Vladimir Putin: We received the request to halt strikes against Kyiv through official channels — the specialized services and the foreign ministry channels

I gave an order, a respective order, starting from this midnight to pause the strikes.

The Ukrainian authorities published their call for a broader ceasefire for three days, but this was something we did not agree upon with them.

We will do our utmost to provide for the safety of the negotiations and the brokers.

Witkoff thanked Putin for the release of American Bob Gillman: “President Trump sends you his best wishes.

The Gilman family is incredibly indebted to you and thanks you very, very much for Bob Gilman being allowed to come home. They have thanked President Trump, but they’ve thanked you also.

I want to thank you for endorsing the no-shoot policy in Kyiv and in Moscow for these three days that allowed us to be able to come here in a safe manner.”

Vladimir Putin told Kushner and Witkoff that the meetings were beneficial.

President Putin thanked President Trump for continuing his efforts in a peace agreement, saying, “I know that he might be entering a difficult street, but anyway, he will not stop trying to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.”
