In the race between Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton, Talarico can not seem to hide his radical positions.
During a private Zoom meeting that has resurfaced with Austin Sierra Club activists from 2020, Talarico said the quiet part out loud, again. He went after capitalism, suggesting it is an ‘oppressive system’ that he wants ‘to dismantle.’
“The multi, you know, multi-faceted threat of a climate crisis, an economic crisis, and a social justice crisis,” Talarico told the group, “I think that kind of New Deal effort would be the only approach to start to address all three in a thoughtful and meaningful way.”
One of the participants then asked him, “Second question….communities of color receive the most harm from the impacts of climate change, yet receive the least government support to deal with it.”
“Tell us about one of the committees you are on, or hope to be on, and the most important actions that committee could take to fight for climate justice and mitigate the impacts of climate change for all Texans.”
Talarico responded, “Yeah, and I am so thankful that you asked this question and also thankful that young activists have really drawn the link between climate change and White supremacy and capitalism in our country,” he told the very White group of activists.
“I think only ending the ways that all three of those oppressive systems work together are we going to be able to begin the process of dismantling them.

The Gateway Pundit reported on another horrible video of Talarico’s that resurfaced, where he agreed with a podcaster who called Christians America’s ‘villains.’
Talarico has also caused a stir with his perversion of Christianity. During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, he confirmed his blasphemous belief that “God is both masculine and feminine” and that “God is nonbinary.”
