Former President Joe Biden on Wednesday said he is releasing a book detailing his presidency and his decision to run for reelection and eventually step aside, which will publish shortly after this year’s midterm elections.
The book, “Promise Me, America,” will be released Nov. 17, he said in a book trailer on X.
Former first lady Jill Biden released her own memoir last month in which she opened up about Biden’s disastrous debate in 2024 that led to his withdrawal. Democrats have criticized her book for rehashing the painful election and distracting from the party’s future.
