Chicago federal facilities were seen being boarded up and fenced off in preparation for unrest and chaos in the streets by leftist activists and illegal aliens when the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) begin immigration raids this weekend.
The Trump Administration has been planning federal law enforcement operations and potential National Guard deployment in the Windy City after at least 14 were killed and nearly 100 injured in shootings over the last two weekends.
It was revealed last week that 200 or more Homeland Security Officials would be deployed in the sanctuary city of Chicago to carry out deportations.
National Guard troops could be used to quell violent rioters, as done in Los Angeles, or to deter crime, as we are seeing in Washington, DC.
In an interview on Friday, Illinois Governor claimed in an interview on Friday that the federal agents are planning to invade as soon as Saturday.
“There are about 300 agents that may be at Great Lakes and preparing to invade the communities around Chicago,” he stated in a clear attempt to stir up radical left Democrats to commit violence.

Real America’s Voice correspondent Ben Bergquam is reporting from the ground in Chicago that they are boarding up ICE facilities for the “peaceful protesters,” he said ironically.
Bergquam wrote on X, “ICE facilities and federal buildings in Chicago boarding up and building walls in anticipation of the violent leftist mobs and thugs that run the city in the state! This is what happens when you [hire] Democrats that care more about criminals and illegals than they do about protecting their own citizens! Stay tuned all weekend for the latest!”

Already, protesters have been reported outside the Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago, where hundreds of agents are stationed for the next 30 days.
Per ABC7:
Dozens of people rallied Saturday against the expected increase in ICE operations, just outside of Naval Station Great Lakes in North Chicago.
Roughly 300 federal agents are using the base as a logistical hub.
The Party for Socialism and Liberation organized a rally and march.
