President Donald Trump has secured a victory that has eluded conservatives for decades. The House of Representatives passed a White House-submitted rescissions package late Thursday night in a 216 to 213 vote, cutting $9 billion in funds already appropriated by Congress for foreign aid and public television. The bill’s next stop is Trump’s desk to be signed into law. The package ends taxpayer subsidization of left-leaning NPR and PBS and eliminates funding for foreign aid grants for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The successful rescission of appropriated spending is a victory long sought unsuccessfully by spending hawks in…

Trump and Bolsonaro against Brazilian tyrant de Moraes. When it comes to Brazil, the new reciprocal tariff took on a political aspect, because the Donald J. Nothing better exemplifies why Stephen Colbert’s Late Show suddenly got canceled than the fact that Colbert’s prime guest on the night of the cancellation’s announcement was … Adam Schiff. Yes, pencil-necked Adam Schiff. Yes, serial liar Adam Schiff. Yes, the dull, charisma-free Democrat U.S. Senator from California who spent more time on TV spreading deliberate misinformation about the Russia Collusion Hoax than anyone not named Jake Tapper. CBS is reportedly paying Colbert $15 million a year. On top of that, for some reason, Colbert requires a crew of 200 (and their salaries) to put on a late-night show with zero…

Zohran Mamdani, Democratic Candidate for NYC Mayor, Questions the Purpose of Prisons: The Progressive Experiment Endangering Public Safety In yet another example of how far the modern left has gone, Zohran Mamdani, Democratic candidate for Mayor of New York City, publicly questioned the very existence of the prison system. At a recent event —which felt more like a college book club than a serious policy proposal— Mamdani not only revealed his lack of grasp on the issue but also implicitly mocked crime victims with a flippant, condescending tone. “What are prisons for, really?” he asked out loud, while name-dropping authors…

Inocencio said, “[W]ith a number of confirmed dead now surpassing 58,000, according to the Hamas-run Health Ministry, accusations of genocide at the hands of Israel are rising.” Inocencio then played a video where he asked Siegel, “Is the application of that word, genocide, is it okay?” Siegel responded, “Hamas is responsible [for] all what’s happening in Gaza, too. They need to release the hostages and let their people…

Colbert will not be replaced and the show is ending its run. Consequently, Colbert made his own announcement to kick off Thursday evening’s show, much to the distress of his studio audience. Perhaps showing one big…
