The Gateway Pundit reported that 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony, accused of fatally stabbing fellow student Austin Metcalf during a Frisco, Texas, high school track meet, is now out on bail.

Anthony was originally held on a $1 million bond, which was reduced to $250,000 by a Republican Collin County judge, Judge Angela Tucker, allowing his release under house arrest with an ankle monitor.

Austin was stabbed in the heart and died in his twin brother Hunter’s arms.

Treating Anthony like some sort of rockstar, the activist group the Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) released a bizarre Point of View (POV) video of Anthony on social media showing their security team flanking the accused killer after his release from jail on the reduced bond.

In the clip, the organization’s security team shakes Anthony’s hand and tells him to “just follow behind us” and “just stay close.”

After leading him outside Collin County Jail and toward a vehicle, they walk past the media (looking more like paparazzi on the red carpet.)

A female reporter holds a microphone up to Anthony, calls him “sweetheart,” and asks if he has anything he’d like to say to the family of the murdered teen. “Why were you armed, sweetheart?”

Anthony stayed silent.

NGAN uploaded the full video, captured by their Director of Security’s smart glasses, to their Instagram.
