Conclave — a Best Picture Oscar nominee starring Best Actor nominee Ralph Fiennes — begins streaming on Prime Video this week.

The release of Conclave on Prime Video comes amid the news that Pope Francis, a moderate voice for Catholicism, died Easter Monday at age 88. A new pontiff will be selected at the Vatican following the loss of Pope Francis, a process that is intricately detailed, albeit in a fictional way, in Conclave.

Conclave also stars Stanley Tucci, John Lithgow and Isabella Rossellini.

A Focus Features release, Conclave originally debuted on streaming video on demand on Peacock but is no longer available on the NBC Universal streaming platform.
