President Trump on Friday doubled down after he announced that he has banned CNN, Politico and MSNOW from the White House.
President Trump on Friday announced that he has banned CNN, MSNOW, and Politico from the White House for constantly reporting “FAKE NEWS.”
Trump warned other fake news media outlets to follow.
“I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW (who recently changed their name from MSNBC due to lack of viewership and credibility!), and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive.”” – Trump said.
“They purposely write negative news, and they do that because they want to try and diminish the Republicans in a Republican administration,” Trump said.
“Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant “reporting” FAKE NEWS!” Trump said.
“Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America. Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP” Trump added.
CNN suggested they will be taking legal action against Trump White House.
Later Friday, President Trump held a presser in the Oval Office and announced that all 50 states’ Medicaid programs will benefit from lower drug prices.
During his Oval Office remarks, a reporter asked President Trump about his decision to ban the fake news outlets.
President Trump doubled down on his ban as reporters challenged his decision.
“They’re Fake News. You get so tired of reading and seeing fake news. When you look at CNN, it’s just fake. That’s why their ratings are no good. When you look at MSNOW.. it’s fake news. It’s fake news.”
