The stencil of controversy.

The Met Police is doing the work of promoting the new Banksy.

For decades, the pseudonymous street artist Banksy, whose real identity remains unconfirmed, has thrived on controversy – and with his last mural artwork, things aren’t any different.

The new Banksy shows a judge hitting a fallen protester with his gavel, and was painted on the front wall of the Royal Courts of Justice in London.

The image was rapidly covered up by British officials.

Daily Mail reported:

“Security guards were seen patrolling in front of a screen concealing the mural now confirmed as being by the guerilla graffiti artist as his latest creation.

He shared an image of it on his Instagram page, after it was stenciled on an external wall of the Queen’s Building but swiftly hidden by large sheets of black plastic and two metal barriers.”

Well 1 hour after the new banksy was revealed that was mocking the courts for censoring people, the courts censored it by covering it up…

“The artwork follows almost 900 people being arrested in central London at Saturday’s demonstration supporting banned group Palestine Action, in what is thought to be Britain’s biggest ever mass arrest.

Scotland Yard condemned what police called the ‘intolerable’ abuse of its officers suffered during the rally in Parliament Square, in Westminster, attended by an estimated 1,500 people.”

The violence I saw today towards the police from the so called good guys was shocking. They proved exactly why Palestine Action was proscribed. Their fans are just as nasty and thuggish as they are. pic.twitter.com/fvpYJHrDKA

“His other murals in London have included nine animal-themed pictures that appeared in nine different locations across the capital in August last year. His final piece depicted a gorilla lifting the shutters of London Zoo to release a sea lion and birds, while other wildlife appears to look out from the inside.”
