NEW: Appeals Court Stacked with Left-Wing Judges Keeps in Place Biden Judge’s Order Blocking Trump DHS From Carrying Out Sweeping Immigration Raids

A federal appeals court late Friday night kept in place a lower court’s order blocking the Trump DHS from carrying out some sweeping immigration raids in Southern California.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stacked with Biden and Clinton judges sided with a radical district court judge also appointed by Joe Biden.

The three-judge panel included: Judges Ronald Gould (Clinton), Marsha Berzon (Clinton), and Jennifer Sung (Biden).

“We agree with the district court that, in the context of the Central District of California, the four enumerated factors at issue — apparent race or ethnicity, speaking Spanish or speaking English with an accent, particular location, and type of work, even when considered together — describe only a broad profile and ‘do not demonstrate reasonable suspicion for any particular stop,’” the appeals court judges wrote, according to CBS News.

CBS News reported:

An appeals court late Friday mostly kept in place restrictions on “roving” immigration raids in the Los Angeles area, agreeing with a lower court judge who found that sweeps conducted by the Trump administration in Southern California appeared to have been predicated on people’s race and other factors, like speaking Spanish.

A panel of judges at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit largely denied a Trump administration request to suspend the lower court ruling, which required federal immigration officials to have reasonable suspicion that someone is in the country illegally before detaining them.

Last month, a federal judge has sided with the anti-American ACLU’s plaintiffs and temporarily blocked President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security agents from raiding Home Depots, car washes and other places in the Los Angeles area (7 counties in the Central District of California) unless they have reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration laws.

US District Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong, a Biden appointee, issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) blocking the Trump Administration from conducting immigration raids without reasonable suspicion.

US Attorney for the central district of California Bill Essayli said he disagreed with the judge’s ruling and said agents will continue to enforce the law.

Statement in response to today’s ruling in Perdomo et al. v. Noem et al.

We strongly disagree with the allegations in the lawsuit and maintain that our agents have never detained individuals without proper legal justification. Our federal agents will continue to enforce the law…
