Judicial Watch: Pam Bondi’s DOJ Tells Court It’s “Still Reviewing” Epstein Records for Potential Release While Publicly Signaling It’s Game Over

The Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi has been caught speaking out of both sides of its mouth.

While DOJ insiders quietly tell a federal judge they’re still sifting through Jeffrey Epstein’s sordid records — including potential names of high-profile clients — the very same agency issued a memo declaring no more documents would ever see the light of day.

Judicial Watch, the conservative watchdog group relentlessly pursuing accountability, revealed in a July 7 court filing that the DOJ and FBI claim they are “still reviewing” records in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit seeking documents on Epstein’s network of elites.

These records include names of his clients, communications regarding the infamous client list, and any and all materials housed within the FBI and DOJ’s treasure trove of sealed files.

But just one day prior, a leaked DOJ/FBI memo surfaced, claiming the government has already provided the “maximum information” and has no intention of releasing anything else.

This is a blatant bait-and-switch.

“The Justice Department and FBI are sending out contradictory messages: telling the American people that no more Epstein material will be released, while telling the federal court in our case that the Epstein FOIA review is proceeding,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “We will be relentless in demanding transparency under law.”

“But no matter, our FOIA lawsuit for the Epstein material continues. We will be relentless in demanding transparency under law,” @TomFitton (3/3). https://t.co/t3VIGGThZs pic.twitter.com/oxEM6Lpepj

The Gateway Pundit previously reported During an interview with Steve Bannon on War Room, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton unloaded on the Trump Administration for what he described as an outrageous attempt to sweep Jeffrey Epstein’s client list scandal under the rug, suggesting it may be worse than what we’ve seen from the Biden regime.

Fitton, known for his relentless pursuit of government transparency, expressed shock over a recently leaked memo from the DOJ and FBI — one that originated under Trump’s own watch.

The memo, conveniently leaked to Axios, claims there is no incriminating client list, no credible blackmail evidence, and no grounds to investigate uncharged individuals connected to Epstein’s massive sex trafficking operation.

“I read the memo three or four times again this morning. I don’t think even the Biden administration would have written anything like this. I just don’t think they could have thought they could get away with it. And I’ve got to wonder: what is going on at the leadership of the Justice Department and the FBI to allow them to think that statements like the following are acceptable?” Fitton said.

Fitton continued:

“This is a classic. Of course, we’re suing for this stuff, right? And so they say: “The systematic review revealed no incriminating client list.” So there’s a client list, but it’s not incriminating—so therefore, you can’t see it?

There is also no credible evidence that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.” Well, give us the incredible evidence.

We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.” They uncovered evidence, but it wasn’t enough to predicate an investigation?

You can go line by line and go through this analysis that I’m going through. It may be unfair or overly critical, but in my view, unless you have the records to back up the conclusions you’ve drawn in a case such as this, this isn’t worth much.

According to Fitton, this isn’t just another bureaucratic failure—it’s part of a coordinated campaign to protect the powerful, the perverted, and the politically connected.
