Zach Bryan is one of the most prolific musicians in the American music industry today. The superstar straddles the line between rock and country, and that combination has helped him amass a huge fan base—one which turns almost every single thing he releases into a commercial win.
For several months now, Bryan has been releasing new singles, though what he plans to do with them isn’t yet clear. His latest in a long line of individual tunes debuts on five Billboard charts this week, and it helps the Grammy winner score a new top 10 on several of them.
“Dear Miss” launches inside the highest tier on two Billboard rankings. It’s new to the Rock Digital Song Sales list at No. 8, and it comes in at No. 10 on the Hot Rock Songs roster.
Bryan has now collected 16 top 10s on the list of the bestselling rock tracks across America. He’s scored significantly more smashes on the Hot Rock Songs chart, which uses a methodology that includes all forms of consumption to rank the most popular rock tunes. On that ranking, he earns his twenty-eighth top 10 this week.
The just-released standalone cut almost broke into the top 10 on one more list, though it’s not one that many musicians care much about. “Dear Miss” opens at No. 11 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100, which acts as an extension of the main Hot 100 for the tunes that haven’t quite managed to reach the top list.
After hitting the top 10 on two of Billboard’s rock-specific tallies, “Dear Miss” narrowly failed to match that performance on a slightly more all-encompassing tally. Bryan’s latest offering starts its time on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, which blends both rock and alternative tunes, at No. 13.
The cut is also a win in the country world, though it seems to have performed much better among rock fans. Bryan’s new single launches at No. 27 on the Hot Country Songs chart this frame.
In the span of only a few years, Bryan has racked up an astounding number of hits on several of Billboard’s Hot-labeled tallies, which blend together radio airplay, streams, and sales to show what America is listening to. “Dear Miss” is his sixty-third hit on the Hot Country Songs list. He’s earned 76 placements on the Hot Rock Songs ranking, and two more on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.
Bryan’s last album The Great American Bar Scene arrived on July 4, 2024. Since then, he has shared five standalone singles, and all of them could be leading to another full-length, but the beloved musician isn’t revealing what’s next just yet. “Dear Miss” is one of two of those five tracks to fail to hit the Hot 100—at least so far.
