Getty ImagesWednesday, Yellowjackets and The Addams Family star Christina Ricci is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that Ricci will be honored with the 2,803rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. PT at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the W Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. Ricci will be honored in the category of Motion Pictures.
Per the Hollywood Chamber, Sophie Flay will be the emcee at the event and director Patty Jenkins and actor, producer and writer Dan Bucatinsky are expected to attend the ceremony, which will be streamed live on the Hollywood Walk of Fame website.
Jenkins directed Ricci in Monster, the true-life crime drama that won Charlize Theron a Best Actress Oscar for playing convicted serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Bucatinsky wrote and co-starred with Ricci in the 2001 comedy romance All Over the Guy.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome actress Christina Ricci to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement.
“From her remarkable start as a young talent to her enduring impact on the silver screen, Christina Ricci’s film career has been nothing short of extraordinary, earning her a well-deserved place among Hollywood’s brightest stars,” Martinez added.
Among her many accolades, Ricci has earned a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Yellowjackets in 2022 and Emmy nomination for her guest role on Grey’s Anatomy in 2006.

Christina Ricci’s screen career kicked off in 1990 with a guest appearance on the ABC adventure series H.E.L.P. and the same year, she made her feature film debut opposite Cher and Winona Ryder in the coming-of-age comedy drama Mermaids.
A year later, Ricci played the iconic character of Wednesday Addams in the supernatural comedy The Addams Family and reprised the role in Addams Family Values in 1993.
In 1995, she starred in the lead role of Kat in the supernatural family comedy Casper and in 1997 was a member of the all-star ensemble cast in director Ang Lee’s acclaimed ensemble drama The Ice Storm.
In 1998, Ricci appeared in Johnny Depp’s dark comedy adventure Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and she starred opposite Depp and Christopher Walken in director Tim Burton’s 1999 horror thriller Sleepy Hollow.
Since 2000, Ricci has starred in such films as Cursed, Black Snake Moan, Speed Racer and the TV movie Lizzie Border Took an Ax, and in television has appeared in such series as Ally McBeal and The Lizzie Borden Chronicles.
More recently Ricci has starred in the Keanu Reeves sci-fi sequel The Matrix Resurrections and starred in the smash hit series Yellowjackets and Wednesday.
Ricci reunited with Burton for Wednesday Season 1, where she starred opposite Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams as Wednesday’s dorm mother and Nevermore Academy botanical sciences teacher Marilyn Thornhill.
Ricci recently returned to the role of the adult version of Misty Quigley in the third season of the psychological drama thriller Yellowjackets. In addition to her screen work, the actor last year released Christina Ricci’s Cat Full of Spiders Tarot Deck and Guidebook.
Ricci will receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday in Los Angeles.
