MISHAWAKA — A driver drove into Saltgrass Steakhouse on Main Street on Monday morning.
A woman was driving at Lake City Bank, across the street from Saltgrass, around 9 a.m. Jan. 13 and had a medical episode, the Mishawaka Police Department told The Tribune.
The 32-year-old woman drove east, crossing all five lanes of North Main Street, and crashed into Saltgrass Steakhouse, police said. She did not hit any vehicles and no other vehicles hit her, Sgt. Steven Headley said by text.
The department reported that she had no serious injuries.
The Tribune contacted Saltgrass Steakhouse to the discuss the damages and if Saltgrass will be open to customers on Monday. A general manager referred the reporter to a spokesperson at Landry’s Inc., a hospitality group in Houston, Texas that owns SaltGrass.
