“The Age of Disclosure”
Vincent WrennA gripping new UFO documentary just made its debut at SXSW this past weekend. The Age of Disclosure features interviews with 34 members of the U.S. government, military, and intelligence community, exploring claims of a long-standing cover-up surrounding alien life. But is The Age of Disclosure available to stream, and when can you watch it at home?
Directed by Dan Farah, The Age of Disclosure describes itself as an “unprecedented and revelatory” documentary that arrives on the heels of the historic bipartisan Congressional hearings on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs, also known as UFOs).
“The film exposes the profound impact the situation has on the future of humanity, while providing a look behind-the-scenes with those at the forefront of the bi-partisan disclosure effort,” the synopsis reads. Farah told Variety that he’s spent the last three years speaking with as many sources as possible in order to make “the most definitive, credible film on what can be legally disclosed.”
Among those interviewed are Jay Stratton, a former Defense Intelligence Agency official and director of the government’s UAP Task Force, and Lue Elizondo, a former Department of Defense official and member of the government’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Farah also spoke with 10 others who agreed to talk with him but ultimately declined to be filmed.
“Some high-level politicians were afraid of how it might taint their reputation or impact them politically,” he explained. “And some intelligence officials legitimately believed that their lives would be in danger if they participated in the film. After long conversations with their significant others, they decided it just wasn’t worth it. That was eye-opening for me. The more you go down the rabbit hole, it becomes clear really fast that this 80-year cover-up of the truth has been enforced with threats.”
