It’s Super Bowl week in the NFL, when the 14th Annual NFL Honors will reveal the league MVP, Coach of the Year, Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year and more.
Super Bowl LIX, of course, is Sunday, where the defending Super Bowl champions—AFC’s Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) take on the NFC title winner Philadelphia Eagles (14-3). But whoever comes away with the NFL’s Vince Lombardi Trophy after Super Bowl LIX won’t be the only big winner this week.
Per the league, the NFL Honors will air on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on FOX on broadcast TV, the NFL Network on cable streaming on the NFL+. The league, however, noted that the NFL Honors will not broadcast live in all time zones, so check local listings.
Rap star Snoop Dogg will host the NFL Honors, which will be handed out at the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. Super Bowl LIX, of course, is being played at Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans.
The biggest award of the night will be for The Associated Press’ NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the 2024 season, which will be presented by Invisalign.
On Jan. 23, the NFL named the five finalists for the coveted award. They are Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen, Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow, Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff and Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson.
