WHAT? Royal Insiders Suggest Harry and Meghan ALREADY Threatening to Return to California and LEAVE UK FOR GOOD Unless They Be Granted Taxpayer-Funded Security

The return of the Sussexes to Britain appears to be going every bit as badly as many feared.

It’s been only a little over a month since Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced they’d be leaving California and returning to the United Kingdom with their two children.

But since they set foot in Britain, a sequence of reports has been showing how difficult the adaptation is:

To top it all, Harry’s uncle published a scandalous memoir about late Lady Diana, and soon after news arose that the dukes of Sussex were trying to get people to be interviewed in a documentary about the 30 years since her death.

But now, Royal insiders have suggested that the couple is ALREADY threatening to leave the UK.

Daily Express reported:

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s future in the UK could hang in the balance, with sources suggesting the [Royal and VIP Executive Committee] security protection decision may influence whether they stay permanently

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned to the UK after less than a month. However, their stay in Britain may prove temporary if sources close to the situation are accurate.

[…] Harry’s dispute regarding taxpayer-funded security could complicate matters, however. Sources familiar with the couple informed the Daily Mail that the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (Ravec) ruling on his protection will influence whether the family remains in the UK.”

Daily Mail reported:

“On the latest Palace Confidential [podcast], Diary Editor Richard Eden and a panel of royal experts discuss reports Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already considering a move back to California if they are denied taxpayer funded security. At the weekend, the Mail’s Editor at Large Alison Boshoff reported that friends say the Sussexes could leave the UK if a Home Office review refuses them automatic police protection.

Speaking to columnist Sarah Vine and royal biographer Robert Hardman, Eden said he views the couple’s reported ultimatum, so soon after their arrival, as ‘akin to blackmail’, an attempt to pile pressure on the review. He added it would be ‘outrageous’ to give the couple, who the King recently restated are effectively private citizens, the same protection as working royals.

[…] ‘My goodness, that makes the whole thing seem like… some sort of blackmail’, Eden argued, as though the couple were saying: ‘We’ll move to Britain in an attempt to get the taxpayers to pay for security’.”
