A well known YouTube personality named Erik Van Conover from New York was recently arrested in New Hampshire. He was allegedly speeding and gave chase to the police. When he finally pulled over for one cop, he allegedly tried to hit him with his car.

Van Conover appeared in court Monday and had a total meltdown, challenging anyone to question his mental competence.

He doesn’t seem completely rational.

WMUR News reported:

New York man charged with attempted murder for allegedly hitting police officer with car

A New York City man who is well known on social media is in a New Hampshire jail facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly hit a police officer with his car.

Erik Conover denied the allegations in court Monday and said police falsified the paperwork.

“I have everything right here, and it’s all falsified,” Conover said during his arraignment…

“If anyone dares try to test my mental competence, I will eviscerate every single person with my intelligence right now,” he said. “And that’s not being egotistical.”

According to police documents, the pursuit started after Conover was allegedly seen driving 55 mph in a 35-mph zone. Police said that after eight miles, Conover stopped, and an officer attempted to de-escalate the situation. But Conover allegedly drove at the officer and hit him in the leg before speeding off for another 28 miles.

More from the Daily Mail:

After allegedly hitting the officer, Conover continued to drive to the town of Carroll and was eventually chased down by deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

The entire pursuit lasted 38 miles until Conover was stopped by state police officers who deployed spike strips on the road to stop him.

Keith Blair, a Carroll County Attorney representing the state, said: ‘You know, the state’s position is that when a law enforcement officer signals for you to pull over and stop, you should do so.’
