A 36-hour standoff at a home in Milford ended Tuesday when a man inside surrendered and authorities reportedly found weapons and a possible grenade.
The incident began on Monday when officers were called to a residence on Pullman Drive for a welfare check, according to the Milford Police Department.
Police said the man inside made threats to officers and refused to come out. He surrendered on Tuesday evening and was arrested, according to police.
Police did not immediately identify the man or say what charges he faces.
Inside the home, police reported finding weapons and what is believed to be a grenade. The Connecticut State Police Bomb Squad responded to assist.
