President Trump on Tuesday called on Congress to utilize the new AI government website, America.gov, to eliminate all excuses for passing the SAVE America Act and mandate voter ID and proof of citizenship to vote.
The Democrats and some Republicans have long said that millions of married women would be disenfranchised by the SAVE America Act. However, the new website, which links the entire federal government into one platform, “takes their number one excuse away from them,” Trump said Tuesday.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Chief Design Officer of the United States and Airbnb cofounder Joe Gebbia unveiled the new platform on Tuesday and demonstrated the feature that allows a married woman to change her last name in three easy steps, circumventing the previously hours-long process.
All one must do is enter their name, upload their marriage certificate, and submit for approval across multiple agencies, all in one step.

Trump noted the ease of the process while delivering remarks on Tuesday, emphasizing his push for the SAVE America Act.
“For our entire lives, we’ve become used to a government so big it makes the citizen feel very, very small, but with America.gov, the entire U.S. government will fit in the plan,” he said. “It’s held in the palm of your hand, a very simple plan that sits in the palm of your hand. Instead, they’re forcing citizens to search through the endless maze of tens of thousands of terrible websites and rules, and more than 10,000 forms.”
“Anyone who’s used Grok or Gemini or Chat GPT will understand instantly how to use America.gov. Not complicated,” he added.
“For years, a woman who wanted to change her name after getting married had to navigate a stressful bureaucratic process that took months and months and even years to complete. Very soon, all she’ll have to do is ask America.gov, and it’ll fill out the forms, track the programs, and send her a new Social Security card, passport, and insurance card in the mail. It’ll arrive almost instantly.”
He then called on Congress to finally pass the SAVE America Act, which the Senate has refused to vote in favor of to enact voted ID and proof of citizenship at the polls.
“With this, nobody can any longer complain about providing proof of citizenship or voter ID,” Trump said.
“They’ll come up with some other reason because they don’t want to have it be easy, but it is easy because you can get everything now that you need in just one simple swipe. So, nobody will have any excuses. We must pass, and now can pass, in theory, very easily, the SAVE America Act because it takes their number one excuse away from them.”
