WASHINGTON, DC — A left-wing protester shrieked “f*ck Trump* into a megaphone and blared sirens outside the Sunday evening vigil for Charlie Kirk, repeatedly interrupting attendees as they mourned at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
While thousands of friends, colleagues, and fans of the assassinated conservative activist lined up to enter the memorial service, a woman positioned herself across the street and began screaming into a bullhorn:
“F*ck Trump… Trump is an insurrectionist… Trump is a traitor,” she chanted, in between using her device to play siren noises that alarmed and confused some of the vigil’s attendees.
Breitbart News was conducting live interviews with those who had turned up from all around the Washington, DC area and beyond to pay their respects to Kirk when the protester began her attention-seeking tirade.
When confronted by Breitbart News videojournalist Matthew Perdie and politics correspondent Olivia Rondeau, the woman claimed she had not said anything bad about Charlie Kirk and was only protesting President Donald Trump — despite doing it at a vigil for Kirk.
The unidentified woman has been spotted with her megaphone protesting around the city, having recently made an appearance on independent journalist Nick Shirley’s YouTube channel for screaming at law enforcement officers.
Despite the interruption, those who gathered to share their support for Kirk continued to proceed into the service to pray, sing Christian songs, and hear from speakers.
