An ICE protester in Los Angeles on Friday was nearly run over when he tried to block a moving ICE vehicle, falling over as he attempted to be a human shield to stop the SUV.

The individual can be seen in the video below, backpedaling in front of the SUV, preventing the vehicle from going around him, and placing his hands on the hood as a crowd of people runs beside the car.

He then lost his footing and collapsed in front of the car, which immediately stopped before killing the individual, and other leftwing radicals attempted to surround the agents. The agents then sped off.

WATCH:

As The Gateway Pundit reported, far-left protestors clashed with federal agents as they conducted their raids. The protestors threw projectiles at agents and blocked vans from leaving.

Several people were taken into custody.

ICE agents descended on multiple businesses in downtown Los Angeles, including a Home Depot, and carried out immigration raids on Friday.

Violent protesters were throwing eggs at the federal agents and vandalizing buildings as agents conducted enforcement operations.

After the ICE raids, more than 1,000 protestors marched over to a federal detention center on Alameda Street, where officers were forced to use tear gas to push back on the rioters..

At one point during the uprising, another leftist, Service Employees International Union President David Huerta, was reportedly injured when federal agents forced him out of the way of an ICE vehicle. Huerta tumbled to the sidewalk after losing his footing when ICE shoved him out of the way of the vehicle he was blocking. According to U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli, “He was arrested for interfering with federal officers and will face arraignment in federal court on Monday.”

Essali said in a statement, “Let me be clear: I don’t care who you are—if you impede federal agents, you will be arrested and prosecuted. No one has the right to assault, obstruct, or interfere with federal authorities carrying out their duties.”
