Stevens Point-area voters elected mostly incumbents to the Common Council and School Board on Tuesday.
Votes were counted in several contested races including Stevens Point clerk and Common Council, Stevens Point School Board, Wisconsin Supreme Court, state superintendent of public instruction and a statewide referendum on an amendment to Wisconsin’s constitution.
Here are the results of those races.
Stevens Point City Clerk
Newcomer Susan Pagel was elected to the city clerk’s office. City clerks serve four-year terms.

Stevens Point Common Council, District 7
Incumbent Mary Kneebone retains her seat. She has served the district for 10 years and will continue to pursue goals related to transportation and affordability. Stevens Point alderpersons serve two-year terms.

Stevens Point Common Council, District 11
Incumbent Shaun Morrow retains his seat. He has served the district for eight years and will continue to use his 25 years of government and criminal justice work experience to help his community. Stevens Point alderpersons serve two-year terms.

Stevens Point School Board
Incumbent Jennifer Bushman and newcomers Marne Mercer and Jeremy Lebrick earned the three seats available on the School Board. School Board members serve three-year terms.

Wisconsin Supreme Court
The Wisconsin Supreme Court is made up of seven justices. Justices serve 10-year terms. Justice Ann Walsh Bradley announced her retirement from the Wisconsin Supreme Court in April after serving three terms since 1995. These results were reported as of 10:32 p.m. Tuesday with 89% of precincts reporting.

State superintendent of public instruction
State superintendent serves a four-year term. Jill Underly has served in the position since 2021. These results were reported as of 10:32 p.m. Tuesday with 85% of precincts reporting.

Statewide referendum on constitutional amendment requiring a Wisconsin voter to present photo identification
“Photographic identification for voting. Shall section 1m of article III of the constitution be created to require that voters present valid photographic identification verifying their identity in order to vote in any election, subject to exceptions which may be established by law?” These results were reported as of 10:33 p.m. Tuesday, with 86% of precincts reporting.
