SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — You’ll want to watch KELOLAND+ this week as we have many specials surrounding the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. On Tuesday, April 29 at 7 p.m. CT we will air the 1988 episode of Thirty that follows KELOLAND’s Steve Hemmingson and Dexter Gronseth to Vietnam with then Sen. Larry Pressler. The show includes a 2025 update from Hemmingson, Gronseth, and Pressler.

Following that show, tune in to the first two programs from the series Vietnam 50 Years Later.

On Saturday May 3:
Vietnam 50 Years Later: Children of the Vietnam War @ 8 p.m. CT
Vietnam 50 Years Later: Fifty Years Later: What We Think Now @ 9 p.m. CT

If you missed any of these programs, we are running them again on Sunday starting at 9 a.m. CT.
